Email Subscriptions - How to Integrate MailChimp in Connecto?

You can integrate MailChimp in Connecto in just 2 mintues without any technical team involvement. MailChimp is now one of the best email marketing service provider. Many of leads based businesses and website use MailChimp to send e-mails to their customers and subscribers. Connecto allows you to smoothly fit in the chain without adding any extra effort from your side. If you already have an account with MailChimp, you can add it in your Connecto profile and this will basically send all your leads to MailChimp subscribers list directly.
How to integrate MailChimp in Connecto Admin?
For integrating MailChimp in your Connecto account, you need to go to the settings page. You can access the settings page from left navigation bar. Once you go to the settings page, you should be able to see "Add New API Hook" button on scrolling down the page.
Once you click this button, it will take you to a create new API Hook screen.
Hook/CRM Name: On the create screen, you can give any random name to your CRM or API Hook. This could be CRM1 or My Hook or anything you can think of.
Choose Your Hook from Predefined Hooks: You will see a list of API Hooks here. This will include some of the well known CRM's like ZOHO, MailChimp, Hubspot, etc. For MailChimp integration, you need to select MailChimp in our dropdown menu.
Once you are done with the first two steps, you will see a list of parameters which we will be needed for verification by MailChimp.
Here is a list of MailChimp parameters, you need to provide us and a detailed description of obtaining those parameteres from MailChimp Admin:
- Data Center ID and API Key: Login to your MailChimp account and go to the account page from top right navigation bar.
Now, go to the API Keys in Extra from top nav bar as shown.
Once you go here, you should be able to see a section called "Your API Keys" under which you will be able to find your API key and Data Center ID. You should be able to see a key like axxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0-us9 The first half (that is before dash) 'axxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0' is your API Key and the rest half (that is after dash) 'us9' is your Data Center ID.
- List ID: For getting List Id, you need to go to your Lists page from top navigation bar.
You will see a listing of all your Email Campaign lists.
If you go to any of the lists like in this case "Test List" you should be able to see a settings tab under top navigation bar. Under the settings tab, you will find "List name and defaults", which will take you to the screen for List ID.
You need to provide us this number that is "386ffeb290" in this case.
- Require Verification: If you need to use email verification feature of MailChimp, you just need to say "Yes" here. It will automatically turn on the email verificatin feature provided by mailchimp. So, with each lead or subscription, the subscriber will receive an email with a link to verify their email. Once they click on the link, the leads will be verified.
